  • Wow, doesn't it feel good to laugh on your own terms, mom and dad? You've been laughing all day at the nonsensical jokes your kids have been making, but you and I both know you have no idea what they are talking about or what is supposed to be funny. They just said orange 20 times in a row… What is funny about that? Let's laugh at the woes and blessings of being a parent. It's not easy! In fact, we'd argue it's the most difficult job in society, period. You have to raise an entire human, and raise them to not be little Karens! That can be hard, especially with how dark the headlines in the news are these days… But they have no idea about all of that, so let's LOL at their weird orange joke and then go back to our actually-funny memes!

  • In the world of parenting, there are some things you should know but aren't ever really taught. One is to hide the “nanas,” meaning bananas in toddlerism. Because you could cook the most appetizing meal ever, or heck, you could make your child's “favorite” meal for them, but if they see the nanas, you might as well throw that meal into the trash… And second, is to make sure you are always present when markers are involved. And make sure the markers are never permanent markers! Kids simply do not seem to know how to tell the difference between paper to draw on and walls or siblings…

  • Though the headlines are dark and parenting is the hardest job, life is still beautiful as a parent. Just being able to meme about these funny relatable parenting things is a wonderful thing. You didn't even know you had so much love to give! And the love you get in return?? Wow, am I already crying just writing about it?…. Maybe. But you probably are to if you are a parent. There is nothing in life like it. So let us LOL and rejoice in parenting! One day you'll be able to look at these memes, with wrinkles on your face, and your now-grown kid will see these memes and understand them. You can say, “omg you totally did that when you were little!” or “oh man, I remember when you did that, you drove me crazy! But, oh man, have I always/will always love you with every part of my heart!”
