EVERY TODDLER AS SOON AS THEIR PARENTS SAY, "IT'S TIME FOR BED" "WATER"

  • Ahhh, the wondrous world of parenthood. You learn, you teach, you laugh, you cry, and you love more than you ever thought was possible. That doesn't mean being a parent is all you are, though. You are so much more than a mommy or daddy! You are YOU. Don't ever forget that. You are also experiencing this life for the first time and it is exhausting. Especially when you have tiny mini mes to watch over and make sure their life stays whimsical. How can you do all that if you don't allow yourself a few LOLs every single day? EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. That's right. Not just now and then, you need to have a good chuckle every single day if you want to stay mentally strong as a parent and just in this world in general. The daily LOL rule is for everyone, we just need to remind parents more often.

  • Teaching your kids that laughing every day is important. It shows them that you don't need to take life so seriously. Plus, it helps you regulate any stress that might pop up. Children don't know how to control their emotions yet, so laughing every day helps them calm the monster that could be brewing inside. Are they at that tantrum-throwing age? I mean, can you blame them? Everything is still so new and they just don't have the tools to communicate everything to you. All they know is eat, p00, and cry. Maybe they understand naps now too. But they don't know how to tell you that you saying their favorite stuffed animal was dirty actually made them feel insecure about themselves. See? Something as innocent as that could have them throwing their arms up with a face full of tears. Communication is hard, even into adulthood. So sometimes, you just need a laughing break to regulate and then afterwards, you can go back to trying to decipher yours and everyone else's emotions. Let the memes work their magic!
