Parenting is no walk in the park. 

Wait, it kind of is. Parents are always taking their kids to the park. It's a classic place for kids to be. But that doesn't mean that it's easy. Parenting is one of the toughest jobs on Earth, and it doesn't even pay. Maybe it pays one day when you raise your kids to be millionaires, and they buy you a house or whatever, but that's more of a retirement bonus. There is no day-to-day salary for raising children. It actually comes with a ton of costs. Not only the obvious ones, but the hidden ones too. You know that you have to pay for their food and their clothing. But nobody tells you about the Robux. And what are Robux even anyway? That doesn't sound real to me, and yet everyone seems to be begging for them. 

But kids are usually up on cultural touchstones that we ourselves are not. We have a way of clinging to the culture of our youth and refusing to learn anything new. Maybe we absorb some of it through our children, but we will never truly know who Kai Cenat is and why he is the most famous person on Earth. Nor will we know what "Fanum Tax" is or what it means to "mog" someone. Some things are better left for the kids, and we can concern ourselves with adult business. But parenting is all about the negotiation between the two.
