Suki Waterhouse Says She’d Be ‘Nepo-Babying’ Her Daughter With Robert Pattinson If She Wanted to Work in Hollywood

Good news for Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson’s two-year-old daughter: if she ever wants to pursue a career in the arts when she’s older, her mom is happy to help. 

In a recent interview with Nylon, when asked if she’d ever invite her daughter into the industry, the musician responded, “Why would I advise against it? I’d be nepo-babying the hell out of her… Oh no. Why didn’t I just keep that inside?”

While Waterhouse first gained attention as a model, the star pivoted to acting, appearing in films like “Love Rosie” and TV shows including “Daisy Jones and The Six.” As of late, though, Waterhouse is best known for her music; “Loveland,” her third album, came out in July. 

Pattinson has been a fixture in the industry since he played Edward Cullen in “Twilight,” and before then, Cedric Diggory in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” Today, the actor is one of Hollywood’s top stars, having led films like “The Batman,” “Mickey 17” and “The Drama.” “Primetime,” Pattinson’s latest project in which he portrays “To Catch a Predator” host Chris Hansen, is set to hit theaters on Sept. 25. 

In the interview, Waterhouse also discussed the whirlwind few weeks she experienced after welcoming her daughter in 2024, calling the pace “quite intense.” (She shot a British Vogue cover, headlined Coachella’s Gobi stage and opened for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in England.) 

Speaking with Variety earlier this year, Waterhouse also described the time as “a dream.” “When I had her, I had so many incredible things going on,” she said. “Maybe if I have another one, it will be a more peaceful moment. But I just knew that this time it was going to be a whirlwind. And I think as a result, everything has been so real that it hurts. It’s been amusing and so tender and fragile and hilarious and all the things.”
