Joey Thye is a Hong Kong singer, actress, and host, who is currently signed to Star Dream Entertainment. After seven years of dodging dating rumors while working in the entertainment industry, Joey finally gave fans a peek at her love life…

…or so they thought. On February 14, Joey posted two photos to Instagram captioned, “Happy Valentine’s Day. Boyfriend-material chest. Fell in love.” In the first photo, she seemed to be posing with her boyfriend…

…but the second photo revealed that her relationship hard launch was just a prank! Her “man” is actually singer Jinny Ng.
