Following the news, a photo and post from a fan was shared on Threads, with a netizen claiming they saw Minji in London and sharing their experience.

“I ran into Minji in London.
Are there any fans who want to claim this? I ran into two Korean girls yesterday morning. The one on the left wore a black star beanie, black leather down jacket, and camouflage pants, and her face looked just like Minji. She had her head down while playing on her phone the entire time, while the girl on the right, dressed in white, ordered.

Minji’s eyes and mouth are easily recognizable, but I didn’t have my glasses, was standing far away, and didn’t have the courage to go up close to verify. After I told my friend how the girl was dressed, my friend said I probably ran into Minji. Her camouflage pants were probably ones given by bape to Newjeans.

I’ve never ran into a celebrity before…if that was really her then I was really lucky.

I thought of something! The name the staff yelled out was Kim!”

I’m just happy she’s not in Korea to deal with ADOR’s bullshit! I wish her a happy vacation! Just relax & enjoy life Minji. Don’t worry about ADOR or HYBE or anything else. ❤️

Keep being in a peaceful and safe environment Minji. You don't have to listen or do anything that corrupt company says. Trust in time, world will realise how the korea and korean judiciary have failed you and the members. https://t.co/lhHrNIQVS3
