“It’s like people only do things because they get paid. And that’s just really sad.” — Garth (Dana Carvey) to Benjamin (Rob Lowe) in Wayne’s World

Netflix has acquired new video episodes of Rob Lowe’s podcast Literally! With Rob Lowe as well as the “definitive” Lowe documentary, Rob Lowe: The Outsider. As previously announced, Lowe will star in the previously announced holiday-comedy film, In a Holidaze, based on the novel by Christina Lauren.

  • Rob Lowe: The Outsider streams globally on Nov. 24, 2026.
  • In a Holidaze streams globally on Dec. 2, 2026.
  • Literally! With Rob Lowe streams globally on Dec. 3, 2026.

Rob Lowe: The Outsider, named after both Lowe and the 1983 film he played Sodapop Curtis in, is directed by Chris Smith (Fyre, Tiger King). Netflix says the doc “goes beyond the highlight reel to reveal what it really took for Rob Lowe to survive Hollywood — and become one of its most enduring stars.” The film includes new interviews with Lowe and “those who know him best” with a “career-spanning look back at the moments — public and private — that shaped him.”

Smith produces The Outsider with Sydney Schwartz and Stacy Smith for Library Films; Marc Gurvitz, Jon Liebman and Zoe Rogovin are executive producers.

The Literally! With Rob Lowe pact is between Lowe, Netflix and SiriusXM. The podcast is produced by SiriusXM’s Team Coco — Conan O’Brien’s crew — the new video episodes will be exclusive to Netflix. The new video episodes will premiere every Thursday on Netflix; the audio will continue to be available through the SiriusXM Podcast Network. Thirty-plus library episodes will also be available on Netflix.

Literally! With Rob Lowe is created and hosted by Lowe. It is produced by Team Coco’s Sean Doherty and associate producer Sean Calvano. The show’s executive producers are Rob Lowe, Nick Liao, Adam Sachs and Jeff Ross.
