KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 2 — Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh has divorced her husband Ramachandran Muniandy after 18 years of marriage.

Yeoh’s official website states that she married Ramachandran in 2008, shortly before running for public office, and that they have two children, Shay and Kayleigh.

According to the website, their children were born in 2011 and 2013, and the couple divorced in 2026 after 18 years of marriage.

Yeoh is the Segambut Member of Parliament, a seat she first won in the 2018 general election. 

She previously served as a two-term Subang Jaya state assemblywoman from 2008 to 2018 and became the first woman to be elected Speaker of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly in 2013.

She was appointed Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister in 2018, serving until 2020, before becoming Youth and Sports Minister from 2022 to 2025. 

Yeoh was later appointed Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) in December 2025.

Within DAP, Yeoh currently serves as deputy secretary-general, vice-chair of DAP and a committee member of DAP Wanita.
