Leavitt will act as a contributor, a few months after she left the White House.
Former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is joining Fox News as a contributor.
Leavitt will begin in her new role, providing commentary and analysis, on Nov. 1. The move comes after Leavitt stepped down as press secretary in August, with Trump saying that she was leaving to spend more time with family, but would remain an outside adviser. She started in the White House role in January 2025, at the start of Trump’s second term.
“Karoline’s firsthand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gives her a distinct understanding of today’s political landscape. We look forward to her providing our audience with authentic and sharp insight across all FOX News Media platforms,” said CEO Suzanne Scott.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to continue appearing on FOX News Channel as an official member of the extraordinary team at FOX News Media. I look forward to bringing my unique perspective from my experience as White House Press Secretary, along with the same energy and candor that defied my tenure, to Fox’s millions of viewers across their many platforms,” Leavitt said.
Leavitt was the youngest person in American history to act as White House secretary. Before the White House, Leavitt served as national press secretary for Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. She previously ran as the Republican candidate for congress in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District in 2022 and served as communications director for then-House Republican Conference Chair Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY). In Trump’s first administration, Leavitt worked as a presidential writer and assistant press secretary.
Leavitt graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2019 with a degree in politics and communication.
