Floods: Five relief centres opened in Gua Musang, 221 evacuees housed

KOTA BHARU, Sept 20 — Five temporary relief centres (PPS) have been opened in Gua Musang following heavy rain since last night, with 221 victims from 57 families housed at the centres as of 1.33pm today.

According to the Social Welfare Department’s (JKM) InfoBencana portal, three districts were affected by the flooding.

The five relief centres are Masjid Jeram Tekoh, Jeram Tekoh Zone 3 Community Hall, Sekolah Kebangsaan Jeram Tekoh, Felda Chiku 6 Community Hall and Sekolah Kebangsaan Limau Kasturi 1. — Bernama
