This couple is making half a million dollars, and yet they still feel like they're falling behind. They're maxing out their retirement accounts, putting $500 away per month for their kids' college expenses, and live in a state with a 5% income tax.

There's a chance they're living above their means when it comes to consumer spending. They spend $6K per month on credit cards, spending $150 per week on groceries, $300 per week on eating out, $120 per week on gas, $200 a week on shopping, $1500 per month on flights and hotels, $100 per week on diapers, and $300 a month on health bills.

All of that, coupled with a $6K monthly mortgage, it's no wonder they feel like they're throwing money away.

Where should they cut back? Are they spending too much on eating out and vacations, or should they feel content knowing they're saving a lot of money for retirement and their kids' future?
