His delivery left little to be desired.
I will never understand people who can watch the same TV shows and movies over and over and over again. I will watch my favorites multiple times, especially when I want to share them with my friends and family, but eventually, I get bored with even my favorite media. Media companies understand this, which is why they keep making a million different shows and movies with the same intellectual property. If you like Spider-Man, Batman, Star Trek, or Star Wars, there is nearly an unlimited number of things you could watch in those franchises. If you've watched all of the Star Trek TV shows, there are Star Trek movies to enjoy, and an endless supply of fans discussing Star Trek online.
There is enough content to consume from these big fandoms that consuming them could be your full-time job, but that's not a good idea for a multitude of reasons. You're going to feel sad if you spend 12 hours a day watching TV, and there's no way around that. Even if you feel mildly comforted by watching TV all day, it's not going to make you feel any better if you're struggling with your mental health. It's okay to have a season in your life where you are struggling and just need the mindlessness of watching the same show over and over again.
The brother in this story is obviously struggling. All he does is watch Star Wars all day. His younger brother called him out on it, and now he's wondering if he went too far.
